If you know me well, you know how deep my fashion obsession runs. And what is the only thing better than finding that perfect piece that makes you drop your jaw and say “O M G!”?!…. A good deal on the fore mentioned pieces. Great style for less is always a win in my book. Mostly because this southern belle is on a budget and has to make the most of it to feed the obsession mentioned up there. So I have taken the liberty of scouring the world wide web to find some of the best summer staples for less! So happy shopping babes! I hope you treat yourself this fine and not so fancy Monday and fill your cart and closet with happiness while saving a few bucks in the process. You deserve it and like it said: It’s Monday! and those are rough, so… treat yourself!

Wasn’t it just Friday like 5 seconds ago?! Holy cow where did the weekend go? Thankfully, 1. It’s hump day,  2. I am officially half way through my work week since tomorrow is my Friday and boy am I ready for a long weekend. Until then, I am totally color crushing on blush lately. This dress has been on major repeat for me because it is so easy to dress up or down and right now I’m all about easy. Every time I pull it out I think of just a few more ways to wear it.  Today I’m sharing an ultra feminine style. I paired the dress with a crisp tailored white blouse and layered on a bunch of pearls for an Audrey approved look. Simple nude sandals (that everyone MUST own) and a sleek bow clutch finished it off perfectly.  It was super easy to wear too. The best thing about this dress, other than the pockets, is that the fabric and construction are so versatile. There was no pulling, tugging, or adjusting at any point during the day, just a little twirling around just because. If you want to see some crazy antics and on site silliness or just a real time look at what I’m up to, check out my snapchat : taylor.davis71. It’s full of some not-so-serious faces unlike this one:

Yasssss!! It’s finally Friday y’all and I’m pretty excited about this weekend. Wes and I are driving up to Greensboro to visit with his family and celebrate a few events. He is playing in an annual golf tournament while I will be helping to host a bridal shower for some family friends!! I just love parties and golf season for that matter! I am terrible at golf and can barely drive the ball, but I just love being out on the course. It’s a great atmosphere and after being with a pretty awesome golfer for five years now, I’ve basically mastered manning the golf cart. Even though it’s usually just me, the hubs and the fam, I still try to put a little effort into looking cute while I’m taking pics and scrolling through my Insta feed. So today’s post is all about the things I’m currently loving, recent purchases and some trend obsessions. I’m all about traveling easy and in style and of course in full color. (P.S- The clutch version of the Rebecca Minkoff bag is sold out, but I’ve linked a perfect dupe for only $30 at the bottom)

What’s in your shopping cart right now?!

I hope you all have a fabulous weekend! For live shots at what I’m up to follow me along on snapchat: taylor.davis71.

How is everyone doing today? I have to say I am over the moon excited about today’s post! I’ve been impatiently waiting like a kid at Christmas to share today’s look. Personally, I have been pretty weary of the denim on denim trend. It just really intimidated me and I felt like none of my shades coordinated and that I should just leave this one trend to the “pros” in the mags. I was really nervous to even put this outfit together even though if it was in fact a flop, no one would ever see it or know. There was just something holding me back. When I finally got the guts to give it a try and yes, even wear it out in public, I was thrilled with the results!!! I didn’t look or feel silly and some fun accessories gave it just the right hints of color to make it feel like me. I can’t say I’ll be going crazy with this trend, but I’m jazzed like Richard Simmons that this one turned out just the way I imagined it in my head.

What are some trends you are nervous to try?!IZI_8511

Rise and shine loves! I don’t know about you, but Mondays always leave me wishing for just one more day, or at least 2 more hours of sleep. I hope you all had a great weekend, I know I did! We celebrated Wes’s birthday this weekend and it was non-stop fun. We ate good, enjoyed the beautiful weather outside and even did a little shopping. For how much we did, it was still surprisingly a pretty-low key weekend and I’d have to say my wardrobe reflects that. I took the opportunity to pull out some of my wardrobe staples & favorites, hint: LOTS of denim. It’s sleek and easy and always looks good. These high waist jeans are some of my favorites because they have the built in spanx in the front. HELLO birthday cake! Goodbye guilt! 🙂 Seriously though, everyone should make their jeans like these. Unfortunately they are sold out, but I’ve linked up some others that are sure to keep everything high and tight when you need it.

There’s just something about spending quality time with family that makes my little heart so full and after this weekend, mine is overflowing. I’d love to hear about your weekend! Did anyone do anything exciting outside?!
