bracelet bag floral maxi dress

Happy Monday Y’all! I think it’s safe to say I am officially back in my routine. For me, this is a great thing! I love my vacations and trips, but I like my healthy meals, regular sleep and workout routine so I’m happy to be feeling like my old self again which is why I’m kicking off a normally dreaded day of the week with this fab floral maxi dress. It is the epitome of femininity and super forgiving (in case you ate too many 4th of July treats like me)!

I immediately fell in love with this Judith March style the second I saw it. The cool color combination and scale of the flowers was just eye catching. Once I tried it on I knew it was coming home with me – no questions. Don’t you just love pieces like that? When you just know and don’t really have to debate. I ended up wearing this for a family baptism a few weeks ago in Asheville, NC and just loved it. It is perfect for those special occasions but can easily be dressed down too with different accessories and styling. I know it’s super hot here in NC right now but the cold shoulder was perfect for the mountain temps and has even been a good option for evenings when the sun goes down.

floral maxi dress On a separate note, are you guys still loving cold shoulder? Aside from this dress and my instant love for it, I have felt myself gravitate completely to the one shoulder realm. I think the cold shoulders are still relevant, but feel a complete level of newness and fun with one shoulder styles. I know I’ve already posted my favorite white top twice (see the post with jeans and my ruffle skirt post). I was just barely an 80’s baby but am completely loving the revival of all the 80’s trends and really love how easy the one shoulder trend is to adopt into your wardrobe. It’s not quite so costume-y this time around which is also nice and easy to wear out and about or even to work.   I’d love to know your thoughts on new and emerging trends! Are you loving anything from the 80’s or 90’s? bracelet mini bag

I hope you guys have a super fab Monday and totally kill it. Only 4 days til Friday!

XOXO

This dress is gorgeous! And I love how you paired it with your belt! I am curious about the length.. because that’s what I always struggle with.. Is it especially long, or would you say about average for maxi dresses? I always have trouble finding ones that are long enough for me.

Brittany, It was surprisingly long but in a great way!!! I had to be careful not to trip on it when I wore my flat flats, but my mid-height stacked heel mules were perfect and still gave me room for higher heels. I think you’ll be pleased with it!
