Good {Threads} Friday

It’s finally Fridayyyyyyyy! I don’t know about y’all but I’ve had one heck of a week so this weekend is much needed and well timed – not sure I could handle one more work day. What I can handle is a healthy dose of football, family and a little bit of early Christmas shopping. I’ve partnered with Good Threads to share with you guys some great needlepoint gift ideas for your friends and family that also give back and provides employment for Haitian women and meals for Haitian children.

Good Threads offers a wide variety of patterns and team themed items that are all hand stitched. I recently made Wes a needlepoint belt for our anniversary so I know that the 30 hours it takes to stitch one of these belts is an intense 30 hours but so worth it. Especially since 1 belt sold = 30 meals given back to the community. Purple isn’t really my color, so I opted for the black and white jolly roger style to wear to ECU games. No one carries App State stuff so I had to make one of those for myself too! Since the Mountaineers got their groove back last night and won (whoo!) I’m supporting the pirates this weekend and probably next Saturday too. What can I say, I love my pirate! In addition to sports team merchandise, they also have stuff for Carolina girls, nautical fans and dog lovers which is why I’ll be gifting good threads this year. The quality is great and I don’t know any southerner that doesn’t love a good needlepoint item. It’s super preppy and easy to monogram.
