Pink Lady

Happy Monday everyone! I hope you guys had a great weekend! The weather here in Carolina was fabulous to say the least. We had a little rain, but not enough to stop me from pulling out all my spring things. If you follow me on instagram (@reeses_hardwear) you know I’ve posted a few details on this look but am so excited to share this pink velvet skirt with you and tell you it comes in two other delish spring candy colors.

This look is another that made the trek down to Charleston with me. When I tell you guys I over-packed, I mean I overrrr packed!!!!!  I mean how could I not?! It snowed two inches in Charlotte the Sunday before I left so I knew things were chilly to say the least. At the same time, it was the week to breakout all the new Spring fashion and showcase those new and trending wardrobe pieces. I struggled to keep it pared down but loved this look and loved how this super soft velvet moto mini matched half the buildings I walked past! There are now two other Easter candy colors available too that match another 100 Charleston buildings. I’ve linked them for you below in case pink isn’t really your thing.

Since both the top and the skirt are pretty “sweet” (sticking with the candy theme of conversation today), I paired them with my go-to belt and ankle sock booties – both in black to balance out all the girlishness. And since I had the texture elements covered, I picked up my GARB clutch to give it a little print interest. SIDE NOTE: GARB Designs is based out of Charleston and I discovered the brand on my first trip down to fashion week. I bought this print as soon as I got home and have loved it ever since! I’ve linked it below. You really have to go read Monty’s story and learn all about how she makes her own prints and products – it’s quite impressive!

I hope you guys don’t have too much trouble adjusting to the work week. Monday’s are always so hard! Wes and I were talking this weekend and we just get soooo into weekend mode, every Monday is like ripping the band-aid off – so painful. If you need me, I’ll just be here with my large cup of coffee trying to focus on work and quitting my daydreams long enough to be productive.

I love mixing the blush pinks with black. One of my favorite combos.

The all over stick looks pretty – eslpcialey pink lemonade. I've never ordered from ELF, but I am tempted by NYX – it's so cheap – and the products seem to be of such good quality. I'm tempted to place a HUGE online order!
