This week’s Friday Fave is all about the polka dot print. I used to wear polka dots all the time as a young girl. That’s probably why it took me so long to accept them into current fashion. It was so hard for me to look at myself in anything dot printed and not be haunted by my mother’s voice commenting on just how precious I looked. Luckily, I got over it and am now border line obsessed. I’m seeing more and more styles that I love and am really liking how they are being styled. Polka dots don’t always have to be feminine and prim and proper. Large and small scale polka dots in dresses, PJs and swimwear can be both fun and classic.
