In true form, I have traded all of my red and holiday items for heavy doses of pink. Last year it was a lace midi skirt, this year it’s a tiered tulle skirt; both so fabulous! I picked up this tiered tulle skirt from Nordstrom when the Atlantic Pacific collection hit but haven’t had a chance to wear it yet. Wally was born right after I placed the order so naturally I wanted to get a little pre-baby body back before styling it. What better occasion to pull out a tiered tulle skirt than Valentine’s day?! I’ll be styling it more and more as the month goes on, but I wanted to start by pairing it with a few of my other favorite collection pieces and a few of my own.

My stripe turtleneck is a j. crew find and boy was it a find. I love the pattern and the colors but I really love that the pinks coordinate perfectly with the tiered tulle skirt, the blazer and the shoes. Life is so much easier when you don’t have to hunt for the perfect coordinating piece. If you’ve ever struggled to match that one difficult shade to something juuuust right, you know what I mean! Anyways, I would totally wear this for a Valentine’s Day date night or for a really fun night out with the girls because it’s festive, fancy, a little “extra” but not formal.
