Divas - Reese's HardWear

For at least three years now, I have been attending Burger Divas events. If you aren’t familiar with what Burger Divas is, then you are totally missing out! My friend Dianna started her burger blog five years ago and has been sharing good burgers and food reviews ever since. A few times a year, she hosts an event at a local restaurant and pairs up with the chef to create an amazing menu! I’m talking choice of burger with complimentary side and beer (or cocktail) to pull out the best flavors of the meal. It’s the total package! Last Tuesday night I had the honor of attending the 5th anniversary party at VBGB here in Charlotte. We chose our entrees and drinks from the regular VBGB menu and of course was amazing as always! I love any excuse to get together with my girlfriends during the week and celebrating one of them is even sweeter.

Naturally, for such a chill evening, I ditched my professional attire and went for my go-to boyfriend jeans and a cute silk top (another closet change find!). It was the perfect combination and kept me cool yet covered as the sun went down. My scarf print top is super old from JCrew (oldie but a goodie on repeat), but I’ve linked some similar ones below to help recreate the look.

Only the largest great dane I have ever seen! Seriously, he was the size of a horse and I probably could have saddled up… but he was the sweeeetest!

These hamburger shaped cupcakes were the most incredible cake creations I have seen! The “bun” is all cake and the “patty, lettuce & ketchup” were all icing! Suarez bakery really did a great job on this event and they were incredibly tasty!!
