One of the easiest ways for me to transition to Fall is to play with color and easy transitional tops like this lace up top. You’ve heard me say a million times how hot it stays here in the South. I’ll be a mom before I get to pull out my favorite sweaters. Whoa! That just totally set in… I’m going to be a mom. The shock of actually writing that statement is still wearing off, but I want to get back to Fall because I’m so excited about it this year. The color palette feels so fresh and the fashion is to die for. As I mentioned earlier this week, I feel like designers are really coming to play and I’m excited about shopping it.

Until the weather drops, I’m channeling the season with this burnt orange lace up top and pairing it back to my fave white jeans and, duh, leopard! I’ve experimented with this color a little last year (see this post or this one) and have already added a few new pieces to my wardrobe this year. For me, it is a great alternative to brown and looks so chic with baby blue, lilac and yellow – my three color crushes right now.
